 You don’t have to be on the verge of suicide or paralyzed with anxiety to reach out for help. Everyone goes through trying phases in their life or gets a feeling that there is something missing, something  unsettling but can’t quite put their finger on it. You don’t have to figure it all out on your own.  Many of my clients have this idea that “I should be able to handle it by myself:  Look how bad my neighbor has it, they have it so much worse than me” or “Look how well that person handles their life, they probably never question their life’s purpose, they handle everything with grace and ease.” However they don’t know what they are doing behind closed doors to “handle it.” Are they in counseling, meditating, doing yoga, have a strong spiritual practice and positive support system, or are they drinking a bottle of wine each night, smoking weed, arguing incessantly with loved ones, spending money they don’t have, or taking handfuls of medications to check out? Even if it’s “just a little bump in the road.” you don’t have to go through it alone. Talk to a therapist, trusted friend, spiritual advisor, life coach. Nip it in the bud. Learn tools and techniques to help you through the little bumps before they become unsurmountable mountains. Individual Counseling

For those of you who want to go deep, I facilitate the exploration of personal issues according to the needs of the individual. I work with adults struggling with issues regarding life transitions (new relationship, career change, new parent, loss of loved one, divorce, retirement, empty nest, health diagnosis, etc) anxiety, stress, depression, emotional eating, bariatric surgery, self-worth, intuitive development, mindfulness, end of life

It is my intention to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to be still and connect with their inner Knowing. I believe that if one stops and listens to their own inner voice one will always know how to act in a way that honors their Highest Good and connect with their authentic power.

I encourage my  clients to  set a very clear intention to live a life  reflective of self love and respect; one that feels good and is lots of fun.   They are challenged to be conscious of their every thought and action and evaluate it’s appropriateness for supporting their intention, their Highest Good. Through this process clients develop the critical thinking skills necessary to identify and change core belief systems and behaviors that no longer serve them.. 

By purposefully choosing self-affirming thoughts and actions, their living style becomes one that is truly reflective of genuine self love and respect. They experience the power of living in the now and come to know that their true essence is love.

When given the opportunity to relax into the present moment clients learn to hear, honor, and respond to their inner wisdom in a way that allows them to celebrate their magnificence and live a joy-filled miraculous life!

Fees:

55’ Individual in person counseling session: $120.00

55’ Individual phone/zoom session: $100.00

40’ Individual phone/zoom session: $85.00

I am in network with most NJ Aetna and Medicare plans. You must call them to be sure I am in your particular network. if I am the fee will be whatever your copay is for your plan.

All fees are due at the time of our meeting.

 Psychological Evaluations for Weight Loss Surgery

 

Pre-op Psych Evals for Bariatric Surgery.

I offer pre-op Psychological evaluations for Bariatric Surgery Patients. I explore with you your weight/dieting history and explain the importance of identifying your overeating triggers and developing new positive responses to those triggers. I talk to you about the fact that recovery requires you to prioritize self care, and that self Love and Compassion MUST be the foundation upon which you design a new healthy lifestyle. I give you several resources that may help you better understand emotional /mindful eating. Many bariatric patents start individual counseling with me prior to having surgery so they can begin to make lifestyle changes that will support long term weight loss. They are supported in cultivating the courage and respect required to prioritize self care which makes life after weight loss surgery (especially 9-18 months post op) much less stressful than for those who are not aware of their emotional eating triggers. I am still doing all sessions virtually.

Fees:

I am in network with Most NJ Aetna and Medicare Plans which require 2 tele-health sessions.

If I am in your network the fee, payable at the time of our session, will be the copay for your particular plan for each session.

If I am not in your network it will require only one session and the fee is $140.00 (if you have out of network mental health benefits through your insurance you may get reimbursed for a portion of that fee and/or it may be applied to your deductible.) .

All fess are due at the time of our meeting.

Group Sessions

Since the COVID 19 Pandemic I’ve been offering all groups via Zoom. It is a much different experience to attend a group online vs. in person. For that reason I  have restructured my group facilitation. They are what you might consider to be mini-workshops. My intention for creating these groups is to offer a place for people to be supported in living a more authentic life; one that is a true reflection of self-love and respect. They are intended to be informative, inspiring, social  and helpful; to plant seeds of encouragement for you to create new habits of thinking and behaving (L.O.V.E. habits) that will ultimately manifest for you elevated levels of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and freedom. I have decided to keep them at the original discounted rate as I want to introduce the concept of Living in the Energy of LOVE to as many people as possible.

Make Peace With Your Body and Food and Live With Intention are the groups I offer most frequently. I generally end up offering a second and third round of the group as members of the groups bond and ask that we continue. As always my groups are grounded in the energy of Love…because I know that Love Heals...

These are NOT psychotherapy groups meaning they are not appropriate for someone struggling with significant depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, etc.

In a study done by Bonnie Ware, a palliative care nurse, it was revealed that one of the greatest regrets of people on their death bed is that they did not ALLOW themselves to be happier.

“Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice.”

If nothing else the COVID 19 Pandemic taught us the one constant in life is change, the only things we can control is how we respond to those changes via our thoughts and actions, and that tomorrow is not guaranteed.

None of us has emerged from the COVID 19 and events of 2020 time of hibernation/chaos as the same person we were in January 2020. NOW is the perfect opportunity to decide WHO you want to be and HOW you want to experience life going forward!

When you get clear about your intentions and walk forward with passion on purpose in the energy of LOVE you can  consciously create a New Normal: one that is in line with your personal values and priorities. You have the chance to RECLAIM your POWER and be the creator of your life experience vs. the victim of its circumstances.

I am offering for people who have participated in at least 2 of my prior groups an “Advanced Live with Intention Group." This is for anyone who wants a little extra support and accountability with continuing to focus on their Intention, their I AM Statement and L.O.V.E. habits.
